At Shen Webs, we go the extra mile for our clients. We believe that web sites should be designed and marketed to bring you more business. If a site doesn't achieve this, why bother having it at all?  How we are different? Most of our clients own small businesses and don't have the time or energy to contact separate web design, hosting, and marketing firms. We are a one-stop shop for all the services you need to get your business online and marketed to the world. We are constantly thinking of new methods to enhance your site visibility and effectiveness -- at a price you can afford.

Your Site is submitted to minimum of 1700+ Search Engines (Server Side / Link Directories) AND ALL 17 OF THE MAJOR SEARCH ENGINES,  with monthly submittal to all new search engines as they come on line.

Search Engine Promotion, (which is a very time-consuming process) is one of the most important services we provide to our clients. Other groups perform this function poorly at best -- and are more than willing to take your money for the privilege.  This is one of the major reason we are currently in the web design, hosting and promotion fields - we want our business found on the internet!

Site Promoting

$15.00 Set-Up Fee to create a Meta Tag Engine File for you index page, and a profile for the search engine spiders, then $60.00 per year for a Shen Webs client and $70.00 per year for the general public. First Six Months of Site Promoting Free for A New Shen Web Hosted Web Sites.  Submissions are every 30-45 days depending upon the search engine requirements & rules for each search engine.  The 17 Major search engines, server side engines, and link directories will be promoted a minimum of 10 times annually.

By Hand Submittal to Specific Search Engines...

$10.00 for each hand submittal. Some search engines like Yahoo require that hand submittal be made in specific categories due to the number of categories for local/regional/state sections. Also local yellow pages require hand submittal for url links.

Some search engines will list sites within a couple of weeks, and others take up to 10 weeks (or more). This does not mean that we are not submitting and re-submitting your site to them -- some search engines simply take that long (Yahoo, in particular) to list a site. Some directories such as Yahoo! hand-pick the sites that they list. Although we cannot make guarantees, we have a good track record with Yahoo! even though it takes quite a bit of persistence on our part.

Here are a few more things you can do to improve traffic to your site:

Trading URL Links with Other Sites...
Exchanging links with other sites is a very popular way to increase traffic to your site. We leave it up to you to contact sites you'd like to exchange links with. Upon agreement to exchange links, we will put the link on your site at no additional charge -- this type of updating is part of our site maintenance service when you host your site with us.

Print advertising, brochures, etc...
We urge you to put your web site address on everything you can -- brochures, advertising, business cards, letterheads, etc. This way your customers know to go to your web site for the latest information.

Associations and Club...
Many of our pet care professional clients belong to regional/national associations that list member web site addresses in printed directories as well as link to their members' web sites from the association's web site. We urge you to take advantage of these links if you belong to a professional association
